Family Communication & Support
We value communication and collaboration with our families. Weekly emails, online classroom updates, and the school portal help keep you informed about your child’s progress. Teachers are available by email, and we encourage conferences and conversations throughout the year.
We ask parents to:
- Stay informed via our weekly newsletter emailed every Friday.
- Check backpacks daily for folders and important notices.
- Support your child's learning at home through routines, reading, and reinforcement of school values.
Before & After School Programs
Before School Care (BSC) is available from 7:00–7:30 AM.
After School Extended Care (ASEC) runs until 5:30 PM and includes snack time, homework help (grades 1–8), and structured play.

Meals Program
Through a partnership with Holyoke Public Schools, all students receive free lunch and optional cold breakfast. The monthly menu is posted online. Please remember, we are a nut-free school — healthy snacks and lunches are expected daily.
Uniforms & Dress Code
Our dress code reinforces a sense of community, pride, and focus. All uniforms must be purchased through Blake’s School Uniforms. Dress down days and special event attire rules are outlined in the Handbook.
