Academic Support
We’re committed to helping every child feel successful, understood, and confident in their ability to learn. Whether your child needs extra time, personalized instruction, or simply a little encouragement, we’re here to walk that journey with you.
They’ll never fall through the cracks.
Small class sizes and attentive teachers mean your child gets noticed and supported early — before learning gaps become frustrations.
They’ll get what they need to thrive.
From reading support to personalized learning strategies, we meet students where they are and help them move forward with confidence.
They’ll feel included and valued.
Whether your child is a visual learner, needs help building study skills, or even requires braille instruction — they’ll be treated with care and dignity.
They’ll build lasting confidence.
Academic support isn’t about lowering expectations — it’s about lifting students up so they can reach them. We work with each student to turn struggles into strengths.
You’ll feel supported, too.
Academic support isn’t about lowering expectations — it’s about lifting students up so they can reach them. We work with each student to turn struggles into strengths.
We’re a small school with a big heart — and that means your child will never be just a number.
Grading & Assessment
We believe in clear, constructive feedback that helps students grow.
- Students assessed regularly using classwork, projects, tests and participation
- Report cards issued four times per year with mid term progress reports
- Grading scale designed to reflect mastery, effort and academic development, with teacher comments for context and encouragement
- Middle school students receive letter grades in preparation for high school
- Teachers work closely with families to support every child’s progress and celebrate their growth
Teachers may use any of these symbols (grade level and subject area dependent) for assessing individual assignments. Numeric and percentage grading may also be used. Assignments are Weighted and Averaged to Calculate Term and Final Grades on Report Cards.
